"Azure" original painting in oil

With "Azure," I wanted to immerse the viewer in the expansive tranquility of the open sea, where the horizon seems endless, and the sky and water blend seamlessly into each other. The rich shades of blue in this painting are both soothing and mysterious, evoking the deep serenity of the ocean while hinting at its hidden depths.

I used soft, layered brushstrokes to create the clouds, allowing them to gently roll across the sky, while the darker tones below suggest the shifting currents of the water. The contrast between the lighter patches and deeper blues evokes the interplay of light and shadow, like a moment suspended in time just before the calm gives way to a hidden storm.

In "Azure," I wanted to express that feeling of getting lost in the vastness of nature, where the sea and sky meet, and everything else fades away. It’s a painting about surrendering to the quiet beauty of the world around us.
