In "Poseidon," I wanted to evoke the quiet power and mystique of the sea god, capturing a moment of stillness before the storm. The composition is minimal, dominated by deep, dark tones that reflect the vast, untamable ocean, with a single streak of light representing the horizon—narrow, almost elusive, as if barely holding back the impending force of nature.
The large, swirling cloud formation rising from the horizon feels almost like the breath of Poseidon himself, full of energy, about to unleash its strength on the world below. The subtle textures of the cloud contrast with the smooth, calm sea beneath, creating a tension that reflects the unpredictable balance of tranquility and turbulence that defines the ocean.
In "Poseidon," I wanted to capture that quiet moment when everything feels suspended, just before chaos or transformation begins, much like the mythological figure who could calm or stir the waters at will.
