“Prometheus” is a reflection on the balance between light and darkness. In this piece, the solitary cloud emerges from a deep, muted black background, as if defying the void. The soft illumination of the cloud, floating just above a thin horizon, represents a boundary between earth and the divine, between the known and the unknown. I wanted to evoke the myth of Prometheus—the bringer of fire to humanity—symbolizing both enlightenment and rebellion. The contrast between the dark expanse and the cloud’s gentle light expresses the tension between confinement and liberation, a subtle nod to the sacrifice needed to bring light into a shadowed world.
